Is using cloth dyes from the local craft shop, close to Michael's, work ably for repairing bleach stained runner? ...
Answers: It's going to be tricky. You'll need to examination a part of the mat first, ideally where not a soul will see it just within case. The dye may not game the shade of carpet, coming out lighter or dark than the carpet. There's also the bleach itself to contend beside. Whatever it's done to the fibers of the carpet may effect the outcome of the dye.
I'd invest surrounded by a throw rug personally because yard goods dye isn't a guaranteed outcome.
Zombie is right. Plus, if the carpet is synthetic, it won't transport the dye.
