I got home today and go upstairs. As soon as I went upstairs here was a strong smell of melt plastic (it smells like when someone uses a fleece straightener). The smell is in the corridor, my room, and my sister's room. I checked the outlets in our rooms and the upstairs hallway to see if it was something electrical but couldn't find anything. I get home at 5 and its now 9 and the smell is still here.

What could it be and could it be dodgy?
Install skylight a/c thru the wall?
