I'm in CA and own a pool I rarely use. I could use the backyard space but in a minute I am hit with another big expense and HAVE to hold the pool resurfaced. I started thinking at first as a joke I should only empty the river and fill it beside dirt. Is that an option?? Does anyone know if it's expensive to do. There is no deck around it really so it wouldn't be a big split down. Thank you for any and all warning. I just dont know what to do
Answers: Well if you do prefer to fill it, you can try this also. If nearby is any construction going on around you you just might obtain them to dump a load or two of dirt for you. Also don't forget you will stipulation to disconnect the electrical....don't want any loose live wires laying around.
As long as the city codes own no problem with satisfying it in you could knock the top edges right into the hole and cram it up with dirt plant grass and be done near it.
