My kitchen sink clogged up today and I put some draino in in that and flushed it out with boiling hose down. Seems to be draining real resourcefully now. Is this perminatly fixed? Or do I still requirement to call a plumber?
Answers: Sounds fixed to me. Probably in recent times in the trap anyway and you cleaned it out.
If it's draining out powerfully now, it sounds as though the problem is taken protection of. A plumber once told me to continue to use Dawn dish soap, as it's a great degreaser & will cut through the grease that collects within your drain. From time to time, put some Dawn down your kitchen sink often & run COLD hose down in the sink for a while, not HOT sea.
