Whenever I turn on the air conditioning, a strong scent of paint starts to cram the house. I just want to know...is it poisonous or chancy in the smallest bit? My brother says it's only because it hasn't been used for a while, but after a couple uses the smell is still extremely strong. =/

Answers:    Nothing in the A/C would smell approaching paint, so the odor is coming from somewhere in the house, possibly getting sucked within through the cold air return. Might be a fungus surrounded by the duct work or air exchanger, but I never hear of one smelling like paint.
Can you install baseboard heaters using steam?
