Is near a leak contained by your roof OR like someone else mentioned ..you may have need of more vents.
You also might put a Dehumidifier up contained by the Attic and see how much water you verbs out of there.
Black mold spreads similar to a disease. Spray it down with a bleach solution or a Lysol type spray will work too.
