I have a touch hurricane lantern and a bulb broken. So i took the broken bulb out it broke at the base of the bulb. I put a current one in and it lite up as bright as it go. I then touched it to shut it bad and it went stale now when you touch it it doesn't come rear legs on.

Is this fixable if i take it apart?
Am i wasting my time and should i purely buy a new one.
I approaching the lamps and i cant find one to contest my other lamps.
Answers:    dont't construe you will be able to fix oil lamp to work on touch, but you can remake the lamp to work near a switch like most lamp, you will have to any buy a switch that hooks onto the wire that plugs contained by or change the socket where on earth the bulb is screwed in, bypassing the touch control switch and rope it like any other storm lantern
You might have burned out the circuitry contained by your lamp by the broken bulb wires touching together, the hurricane lantern can only feel a certain amount of watts.
