I use the 3/8ths "L" washer in my hot stroke for my bathtub. My hot hose heater is set at 125 degree, and I have be using the green "Gator" washers. My seat is bright. Problem is I keep going thru washers every 3 to 6 months, and I hold never had to transfer my cold one. The Gator washers do last longer than the regulat black washers do...
Plumbers...whattya know?
is at hand a solid teflon version somewhere? I cant find one.
Answers: You enjoy an excellent idea beside the teflon washer, I haven't seen anything better than the gator; try the beviled ones.
If you are replacing washer that reg. in attendance has get to be something that is rubbing the washers the wrong track and tearing the washers. I would relocate the ball first and if that didn't lend a hand I would replace the faucet itself.
