Hi there,

I guess my subject vein says it adjectives. My wife and I need to replace our river heater and are looking at getting a tankless for both the enviromental and adjectives gas savings reason.

We live in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada which process we pretty much have winter 5 months out of the year and our groundwater is moderately cold year around. I am concerned that the tankless unit will not provide adequate of a tempeture rise from the unit to the appliance (I am not a big adherent of luke warm showers).

Does anyone own any experience with the tankless unit? We are looking at the Bosch 2400E NG model. Is there another brand that you would reccommend?

I guess I should also mention that we are a 2 individual household so I do not expect 2 showers going the same time (but maybe a shower and washer or dishwasher)

Thanks for any advice you can provide.

Jim
Great choice. The temp of the hose down going in is not that far-reaching. The thermostat will work all that for you. The certainty that you are a 2 person household make this a particularly great choice. Why save all that marine hot in a conventional space heater 24/7?

I hear nothing but appropriate things about tankless heaters.
I put abundantly of small electric ones in the bathrooms of small commercial stores for thier little dry-clean sinks. They put out hot water right away and will continually until the touch is turned off.
As far as brands are concerned I can't detail you much since I always give up that up to the local plumbing parts supply house who always bestow me a good one.
I never put a gas operate one in,,,,i in recent times run a wire instead of a pipe.
Answers:    Tankless is great but probably a gas part would be best. I have one surrounded by mind for my sink in my garage but I can't really utter how well they would work within a family setting. I tend to construe they are better suited for single fixtures. I think you are drastically wise to ask this request for information. It's a major step away from conventional hose heaters and could be a costly mistake. I know a fellow who had a unharmed house type and now he have disconnected it but I'm not sure why. I always thought they would be great surrounded by a RV. Even then I would want them to be separate. Who really wishes to run low on hot water contained by the shower? You may want to search out reviews on the net. Google it... they should come up. Good Luck!
