There is not necessarily a "neutral" in a 240v circuit.
Answers: Most cases only require a 10/2 for heaters. If your boiler only have 2 wires on it, you don't need a colourless. Connect the black and red wires to the heater and the ground to the ground terminal contained by the heater. Cut stale the white wire and put a rope nut on it. Tape the wire nut on for added sanctuary. In the panel, connect the black and red wires to your breaker, the ground to the ground bar. Cut bad and cap the nonpartisan. Don't connect it to the neutral pub. Good luck!!
