Inground gunite pool? I recently have my pool re plastered now the pool standard...

I recently have my pool re plastered now the pool standard lamp turns and then pay for on. Any ideas what the problem could be/
sounds similar to a wire get damaged. Get a professional, not the pool guy, to find the problem and after take the problem to the pool man (if his repairs cause it) to see if he will pay for the repair. If he is a moral business man he will get it repaired at no cost to you. If not it would still probably still be cheaper to bring a electrician to fix it, than going to court. Good Luck.

Sounds like something happen to the light niche, or the connections made inside of it. I would stay out of the pool until it is corrected.

I would own an electrician check out all of the connections at the restrained, including making sure that the potting compound has be placed back on the grounding conductor (if the pool have metallic wet niche street lamp fixtures operating at line voltage).

Make sure that the electrician have experience with pool lighting of adjectives types. Pool wiring is a bit trickier than standard house electrical system; and requires a better than average understanding of the principals of bonding & grounding.
Answers:    The insubstantial should have adequate extra cord wrapped around it to remove from the niche and set on the deck for evaluation and repairs. Pool Lights also are supposed to have a GFI circuit and you may hold a faulty GFI to be precise easier to replace.

Unless the old frothy was dropped during removal and re plastering it is probably OK. Dropping pallid typically breaks the bulb inside.
