I've heard that adjectives floors can explode under absolute conditions. Right now we're moving things around the room upstairs and the in one piece floor sounded like cracking. Is near a danger of exploding?
Whats the Problem?
Answers:    I feel exploding is a little drastic, but what is taking place is you are redistributing the freight on the floor and the joists beneath the floor are "flexing" to accommodate the weight change. The tiled floor will not "flex" so you will hear cracking noise and may see cracks in your grout and possibly a few tiles.

Tile will not explode.. What you may enjoy heard stories of and I hold from my customers is the when a tile is bonded down well some colloquial movement from within the house ( and this is rare) may mete out a tile to SNAP ( crack) and it it will sound loud.. Remember tiles will pilfer a lot if properly laid, they also walk thru a lot during production when they are fired to harden them What you may be audible range is natural sounds because tile wont cloud sounds like mat or tile coming loose from not being tile right I can t let somebody know from here lol ( sry bad joke) GL
