I live in Richmond Hill, NY and I just now had a newborn. Now the problem is the breaker go out and also one of the outlets in the house does not work. I single have one outlet that works within one room and the other outlet nothing. And the owner wont bring back it fixed. I need to know prices and estimates. Hopefully they wont be expensive person in NY. (a).(a) Any suggestions and input is appreciated. Thank you.

Answers:    What is scheduled when the breaker trips? Is it when you turn on the microwave? Refrigerator compressor turns on? Curling Iron? That will give you a clue. See which outlets no longer work when the breaker trips and move things that are plugged into them to a different outlet to better distribute the nouns on that circuit breaker. If the breaker is tripping on its own with nought connected, it could be a bad breaker which an electrician should fix. The outlet that never works. Try looking around for GFI outlets, ones that own a Test and Reset push button on them. They are usually in the bathrooms and kitchen. Try pushing firmly on the Reset button after see if that dead outlet is fixed.

The problem is probably only the one bad outlet specifically causing the breaker to trip. Call the proprietor, and explain that you need to enjoy the electrical repaired and he can expect the bill freom the electrical contractor in the subsequent few days if he does not fix it sooner. Since it is their responsibilty to do the repair, if he won't call the contractor recount him you will.
