In ground pool pump problem? my mom has an in ground pool and it's be working fine...
my mom has an in ground pool and it's be working fine last summer, but now that we tried starting it nought. we hear a sound from the motor and then it shuts stale. we changed the impeller, o rings and seal, and still nothing. any opinion what's wrong with it??

sounds like the motor go south get somebody with an amprobe to check it to see for sure .. it should be pulling smaller number than rated amps shown on motor label
