ok im looking for an impact drill but i keep seing ft-lbs or in-lbs so i guess my interrogate would be whats more powerfull as in 240 ft-lbs of tourque or 1330 in-lbs of tourque or whats a appropriate amount of tourque to drill through steel beems

Answers:    You would need elevated tourque and low revolutions, and plenty of oil beside a steel bit drill not a impact drill.

You would not use an impact driver on steel beams - you'd use a regular drill. Oil the drill bits as you're drilling, and enjoy a lot & lots of spares.
