That is 4.2 squares. Most shingle manufacturer package their shingles so that 3 bundles bring in a square.
This means you will want 4.2 x 3 = 12.6 bundles. Usual allowance for trim is 10% on a small job.
12.6 x 1.10 = 13.86 bundles.
Since you cannot buy a cut of a bundle you will need 14 bundles. and lots of roofing nail.

area = length X thickness 14x30= 420 I would add 10% for waste and minor mistakes then around 460 square foot. Figure out how many foot you get surrounded by a bundle and buy accordingly. The bundles should also explain how to accound for overlap.
