so, i have a hot tub (out door) and for my friend's birthday, we be going to cook her dinner, then we be going to go into my hot tub. However, here is leaves and stuff that got inside, so we own to clean it out. If we verbs it out at 10, start heating it at 11 (AM) will it be primed by, say, 6 that darkness? by the way, its nearly 35 degrees outside, so gratefulness for your answers!
Answers: I hate to be the bearer of unpromising news but No it will not be all set. If you have a 5.5kw space heater and it is hooked up as 240v the most your going to get is a rise of 7 degree an hour... so seven hours will put it around 84 degrees... If you havea plug within style hot tub it is running at 115 -120 volts and will take 4 times longer. You will hold water that you can carry into comfortably by 10-11 pm. Assuming your hot tub is covered and well insulated. Of course 80% of hot tubs made are not economically insulated. Of course if it is a gas heater it will be set in smaller quantity time.
Adding hot water from your spigot will not work. 7-8th class science..............I am always amazed at the answers on here.
