If it from any of the above, there is a karma it can be temp. repaired by shutting off the supply water, draining the pressure, cuttin the pipe, and using teflon cassette, most likelt they are male fittings on top for your cold in, and hot out, freshly buy compression fittings to repair your cuts, if it your drain, is it leaking from the valve itself, or the threads, if threads same as above, if form the spigot, can buy a cap.
Also, if it is an older WH, merely replace it, they are cheap to replace, and if they are leaking, it can/will get worse and raison d`¨ētre alot of damage, remember, that is a live dampen line in.
