I requirement above ground pool give support to (with treatment)!? Okay. I will keep this as short as I can....
Okay. I will keep this as short as I can. We bought our home concluding July and did not open our above ground pool. About 2 weeks ago we open it. It was greenish, but we could see the ground. We shocked it, and put algaecide within it. Our pool store then tested the marine...and gave us a roll of things we needed to do. We did them, brought the water fund to get it tested again and very soon our levels are "perfect". We be then advise to start with actual chlorine tablets, somewhat dry clarifier, and the non-chlorine shock (restart). However, after all of this, our wet still has a green tinge to it. It's for a time cloudy as well. They also told us to not run our vacuum until the wet was clear. I freshly added algaecide again (1st time since the initial open) after brushing the algae off the walls. Should I shock it tonight? Should I run our vaccuum on the floors? We bought an aquabug for easier upkeep. The pool is 18' in diameter and 4' vast. We have a sand filter. Thanks!
Answers: There is no call for to waste adjectives that water. It will become faultlessly clear with time and a properly maintain filter.
You haven't mentioned how long you run the pump/filter.
An 18' should run 8 hrs a day. Also the filter desires to be back-flushed, to work more efficiently. You will involve to back-wash it more often than you feel, especially after vacuuming the pool. I would vacuum manually the first few times, and don't be to concerned if the water get a little cloudy after vacuuming, as sediments on the bottom capture disturbed.
Just let the filter do it's duty. There should be a pressure gauge on the side of the filter. It should hover around 12 to 15
psi while the pump is running. If it go up to around 20 or so, the filter needs back-washing.
You could also try replacing the sand surrounded by the filter.
And while I'm here, look for depressions in the bottom, effective the wall, they're an indicator of ants nesting under the pool, and undermining the sand.
The pool store will put in the picture you to use a lot of chemicals that you really don't call for. I have an contained by ground pool and I keep it clear for nearly $50/month. I would like to see your river levels and what you hold put in so that I can show you how to against the clock clear it up and how to do it inexpensively.
