I woke up this morning to a house that was 56 degree, when it should have be 72!
I checked the thermostat, everything looked fine, I went down and looked at the furnace. The pilot bedside light was burning. I pushed the red reset button on the furnace, nil happened. I pushed it again, held it surrounded by for a couple of seconds and it fired up.
It cycled bad, and about 30 min. next, it fired up again just close to it is supposed to, and then wouldn't fire up again.
This time, it took roughly 7 tries before the reset button get it to fire up again.
What kind of problem could I be looking at contained by this scenario?
It has worked fine up until this weekend when the temps fell to below nil for the first time this year if that means anything.
sounds resembling a bad thermostat on the furnace, if fruitless after it times out it will not reignite.
or if older one near an "eye" the eye may need cleaned, not seeing flame

IF it does this to you again, call the specialist

sounds resembling the circuitry is having trouble - feasible requires training to figure out
Answers:    is the red reset button a lofty limit or flame roll-out switch. You can narrate by where they are located. If it is a illustrious limit next check your filter first. If it is a flame roll-out then check your chimney for obstruction. Otherwise more details are needed.
