I own ground marine coming up around a pipe surrounded by my house. What can I use to stamp that space when it is raining?
Answers: you can buy 'hydraulic cement' at the hardware store to seal it, it will work within wet conditions. it is sold within small cans, roughly the size of an old fashioned grease can, for under $5.00. lately tell them what you are trying to do and they will know what you are asking for. you will involve to wear rubber gloves when you work with it, since it can "burn" your skin. purely follow the directions on the can. i have used this product myself, to stamp where the sea pipe enters the house, it hermetically sealed it up real quickly, in around 15-20 minutes. good luck, i know this will work for you.
No event what you use the problem WILL return.
Water seaping up through your floor means that you own one of two problems:
1. You have a broken pipe somewhere. A plumber can run a camera down your drains (sometimes for free if you enjoy the work done).
2. The water table within your neighborhood is higher than your floor. This would require digging down to the foundation adjectives the way around your house and run special pipes to a container with a sump pump. (Your home center guy can explain it to you.)
In any case...GET THE WORK DONE FIRST AND LET THE GROUND DRY OUT.
Once it's fixed and your ground is dry you can effectively repair the nouns around the pipe.
