Ive started taking out trash as soon as any food is put in it, and sprayed poisons to the max, but my question is do you assume that possibly making my house very cold will make them go quicker?
roaches believe it or not, close to clean invironments, it the roach problem is real fruitless, call an exterminator buy a can of BORIC Acid,[powder] at a hardware or $ gen,
spray it along cracks, & crevesis, under sink, ect.
Do you live in a house or an apartment? Usually contained by apartments, if your neighbors are filthy, when no matter what you do you'll always enjoy a roach problem...try having your home "bombed" you can buy them at the grocery store or get a professional to come contained by and treat your home... good luck. No. Cockroaches are virtually indestructible. They are capable even of surviving a nuclear blast or a direct blow next to a hammer. Merely making it a few degrees cooler will hold them laughing their little heads off at you.
Throw down some borate powder. This will soon enjoy them flat out dead and is not harmful to you or pets.
Answers: Borax works great it eats the prtective coating from the exoskeleton, and will kill them surrounded by the house, but the problem is them getting in the house. You need to treat the out side next to poison. Remove any wood, leaves etc from around the house where the roaches may be.
Making your house colder won't minister to at all. The best thing I found are Combat cockroach discs. They work great. :)
