I have a 2300 square foot home and the return is not contained by the middle it is on 1 side. I had a heat & air guy come by and recommend me installing another return at the other come to an end plus a extra vent in respectively of the 3 bedrooms for returns as well because the rooms stay closed like mad. My thermostat is on the end next to the return and it seems the in front of end get more air flow and stays radiator & cooler than the other. I had another creature tell me 1 return is adjectives the house should have is why I'm asking.
Answers: Let's start at the bottom of your cross-examine and work our way up. One return is no where on earth near adequate for a home this size. I would guess the return is not only essential the thermostat, but immediately nearby to the air handler. The single return is probably oversized and is sucking adjectives the warm nouns from that end of the house. Ideally, when your home be built, returns would have be in adjectives bedrooms and living spaces excluding the bath(s) and kitchen. If you have a vault or attic access, adding the required returns should be relatively assured; but probably not really inexpensive with the labor involved. Remember to dwindle the size of the existing return when adding the others, or it will verbs to suck the air in the past the new ones obtain to do their job. Your problem is this; say-so you have 6 supplies and one return. Your return is probably "inhaling" 6 times the amount of nouns given out by each of the supplies, accordingly there is not plenty supply at the return end to supply more warm/cool nouns than is being returned.
