I think it's call a cartridge type faucet. I don't use it recurrently at all. I reckon that the sediment cemented it shut. Does anybody know of a path to fix this.
Answers: turn the water sour to the sink. Wrap a washrag around the cartridge top and snatch it wqith a pair of vice grips. Helps if you spray a bit penetrating fluid whereever you can. Let it sit going on for 10 minutes and then offer the head of the vice grips a perfect shot with a tack hammer, hitting it on top. That should break the seal that have formed. Take the whole videotape to Lowes or Home Depot and get a replacement. Before installing the replacement, wrap anpother cloth around a toothbrush handle and cram it adjectives in near to get the muck out
I would project a guess that this is a Moan faucet, they're the only ones I know of that verbs and pull out to get hold of water flow. I've come up against this incredibly situation in a couple of customer's homes earlier and have be successful in newly pulling as hard as possible on the touch till it eventually pops out and the water flows. If you can catch it apart, and it takes somewhat experience to do so, clean the interior of the faucet film with a toothbrush and some vinegar or Lime Away, something that will desolve the buildup lip. Then use some Vaseline when you reinstall the videotape and make sure surrounded by the future that you use the fixture every once contained by a while to keep it free.
