Answers:    Yes it has a nouns, it is either automatic or instruction manual. Either way it is belt driven. The first point I would look at is the belt. If the belt needs to be replaced, at hand is a diagram of how it is routed under the not here foot rest.

don't know what model you have but i would look below it to see if it kicked the belt off the pully, some enjoy belt drive some are hydroststic, "fluid" snd some are chain, but most are belt drive, own a look under the frame, between the frame and mower deck.
