It will fill up and drain of late fine. The agitator isn't turning. So my wash is not spinning dry or wash. The motor is running so I don't think it is a belt(terms might be wrong). I did a nouns on all the cycles and it doesn't work on any of them, so I don't regard the timing is off. So I am pretty sure it is the agitator. Is this something I can fix myself? or is it better to ring a plumber? I really don't think I stipulation to replace the whole electrical device. Any ideas would be appreciated.
Answers: Below is the cog that is defective.
It is an glib fix:
coupling replacement:
unplug machine.
the outer portion of this washer
can be removed from the inner
workings by flipping up the
control panel and popping
the 2 flipside quick clips
and unpluging the lid switch.
once the skin is removed,
the tub,motor and pump
assembly will be easily accessible.
to catch to the broken coupling
remove the pump first then
the motor,both are held
together near quick clips.
vein up the part and replace
the motor, pump, and
defence in reverse lay down.
This is the job of an Appliance Tech, not a Plumber. Could be the "dogs" surrounded by the agitator that have worn out. These look resembling fingers that engage the agitator. Could also be a broken belt.
