I necessitate some relieve.bought a bottle of toilet bowl cleaner from the dollar store.? stored it on floor next to toilet and it leaked on marble...

stored it on floor next to toilet and it leaked on marble tile and in actuality made a hole/indentation about 1 inch deep. I cleaned up near windex. Should I do anything to nuetralize whats in the hole or residue on the floor. At least it be behind the toilet.
never mix toilet bowl cleaner and ammonia together!!
neutralize with water
the sharp in the TB cleaner ate the finish off your floor...no fixing it
I agree with a previous answer: use baking soda. Depending on how deep the harm is, even baking soda might not stop it completely. If the baking soda can't penetrate as deep as the wrong (or continuing damage), you might need to cut out the old wood and replace it past it gets even worse. You could water the nouns until the wood is completely saturated, but it would only dilute the bitter instead of neutralizing it, and then you might obligation to replace the wood anyway if it becomes too soggy. Not fun.

The last time I cleaned my toilet, I used just bleach and it worked well. No fear of sour damage, either...purely have to make sure I don't splash the bleach onto things that might turn color, approaching the clothes I'm wearing!
Answers:    As mentioned , the cleaner was acerbic based which might be OK for porcelain but literally "ate" the marble.
Baking soda is mild , will neutralize any remaining acid & not do further spoil.
Might see what home centers have as far as kits for patching material or "cultured" marble
Yes it must hold been an acid. Use baking soda and marine then scrub. Clean and repeat until it stops foaming.
