Answers:    That IS nasty. You might want to try Easy Off oven cleaner. Spray on, agree to it sit, and then verbs off. Remember to wear rubber gloves, as this stuff is unbelievably potent.

Try Lysol Antibacterial Kitchen cleaner. It seems to remove mature gunk better than 409. A butter knife or spoon may support you scrape some of the gunk loose to carry you started. Then spray, wait 10 minutes, spray, linger again, spray. And try scrubbing near a scouring wad, or Chore Boy. I used to clean apartments for a time after family moved out, and some of them were disgusting. Toilet bowl cleaner remove adjectives kinds of mildew, and soap rabble from tubs and showers. And it also works well near stoves. I used to use a large green scour pad on a variable orbit sander with toilet bowl cleaner to remove baked on crud from stoves and ovens. Same setup next to comet works wonders on tile. Hope I helped. :)
