Fine corn meal be poured down that side and it plugged it solid! I've removed as much as possible from thei inside and the blades turn with the wrench, but the reset button won't engross on the bottom. I think it's plugged below the blades. Anyone know what I hold to do to take it rotten to "dump" the bottom so I can get hose down to flow through it? Right now I hold safe drain starter sitting in it and no nouns. It wouldn't plunge before the drain opening, so I think corn lunchtime is like concrete contained by the bottom. HELP!
Answers:    If it still works, I don't see why you'd want to replace it. But for any significant maintenance you'll probably own to remove the unit to work on it (beats working on your posterior under a sink!). Here's a step-by-step of how to remove it, along near a short video clip showing how it's done.

Once it's out you can either service it yourself or whip it in to someone who can.
My friends son tried to nurture two cut up cantaloupes skin and all down her disposal. I took a hose hose stuck it down the disposal drain and packed rag's around it to hold surrounded by water pressure. I held the hose and the stopper contained by the other section of her sink while she slowly turned on the dampen. It took less than a minute and the drain be clear. If you try this be sure to keep sink doors expand to monitor the drain and have clear communication beside whoever is operating the faucet.
