i have surveyed a solid wooden floor surrounded by a domestic home, its a 127mm walnut, it is layed on a concrete floor at ground floor level, and on plywood at first floor plane, it has shrunk to a point whereby it immediately contains no moisture and the joints are presently excessive, would appreciate any suggestions as i live in ireland where on earth we would normally expect the conflicting problem of expansion
Answers:    Without replacing the entire floor, I would attempt to run humidifiers in the rooms for a time and install a humidifier section on the furnace unit. I have to do this for wood accents contained by my home and the furnace unit put ample moisture in the atmosphere to resolve my problem. I hope this will work for you.`
