I hold an AC automatic voltage regulator, one of the wires have fall out of the fund, please lend a hand!!? My automatic votage regulator is wired up to my air conditioning....
My automatic votage regulator is wired up to my air conditioning. There are 4 wires which are supposed to stir into the back of the voltage regulator, 2 are contained by the output holes, one is in an input hole and next the other wire have fallen out, nearby are 4 other holes for me to chose from and I haven't got a clue!! The chain that has fall out is coming from the air con system, does anyone know which hole at the flipside of the voltage regulator this is supposed to go into? Please give a hand because i'm so hot! Otherwise, does anyone know if i will do much damage if i try the cable in adjectives of the holes? I tried this earlier but little sparks flew out of the automatic voltage regulator!! Many gratefulness in mortgage
Answers: If you live in North America, and you bought a North American AC skylight unit, it most probable runs on 120VAC. Just remove the regulator altogether, and run the AC straight from the wall.
If you bought an AC unit that have an automatic 120 / 240 switch (which sounds most likely to be the case), you're primarily rewiring the transformer depending on the screw hole you choose. A picture would help... email me a association to a photo, and I'll do my best to diagnose it.
