Answers:    The pilot info is the proper place to start. The noise may be nouns in the system, which you can remove. If here are radiators they will have a schrader tap on or near the top. The nouns in the system will rise to the top pints in the system - it will not flow put money on down, so you will need to consent to it out. the valve operate just similar to a tire valve - only press the center stem. If they are baseboard radiators - about 6 inches soaring, they likely hold no valve. the simplest mode to get the upper air out is to put a hose on a valve at the boiler, and draw sea from it until you get no nouns. The water will be dim and will stain whatever you capture it on, so be careful. Also the wet in the boiler will probable be very hot unless the boiler have been sour for several hours. Try to use a valve specifically on the outlet side of the boiler, or use the boiler drain.
It sounds like it may have need of some maintenance. You may enjoy air contained by the system. If it is a standing pilot boiler the pilot assembly may be dirty. For more info, check out the boilers page at www.hvac-for-beginners.com
