My gas furnance usually cycles on and off when it get cold in my condo. When the furnance use to run on it ran for a while and shut bad after the temprature in the room be reached. After it shut sour after about 30 second the it would turn back on again for roughly speaking 10 seconds the lover would go on and turn rotten. It has not be doing that today does that mean the furnance is going to overheat?

Answers:    Don't be too concerned near the heater. When it turns on it take a few minutes to heat up the plenum (air box) when a convinced temperature is reach the fan turns on and heat up the rooms. It could shut off for a second or two if the warmth falls a little. Your furnace sounds purely fine. All you really have to do is spawn sure the air filter have been changed.

Sounds more resembling a thermostat issue. You may need to replace it. Heaters enjoy override systems on them so if it gets too hot it shuts the power down and shuts rotten the gas supply. It does need to be checked out. Look within your paper...they run ad all the time to do low cost ( $39 - $59 )service checks on your system.
