I have a combi boiler that covers the heat and the hot water downstairs and sink upstairs but for reason of water pressure (lack of) we put a separate container in to provide hot marine for the shower and bath. In the closing couple of days there is no hot hose. Any ideas for the common sense for this. There is a switch outside the bathroom which I was told be to turn on and off the hot sea which we keep on constantly as we dont enjoy the time to wait for it to grill up.
Please help as I dont want to be taken for an idiot by plumber.
Thanks
electric dampen heater?? it may be that the elements enjoy burned out.
Check the trip surrounded by the fuse board.
There may (or may not) be a trip for the upstairs heater, if the isn't, within the loft shoud be a FCU - like a oil lamp switch, but has a fuse - check this fuse,
If the fuse have blown, replace it and try again for hot water.
If the fuse blows again, the dampen heater is out of order - change it - assured job.
Answers: if you put a cylinder contained by the loft, it sounds like the immersion furnace has gon. a contemporary immersion is only around 20 pounds. but the cylinder has to be drained to fit it. you will be looking at a bill of more or less 200 pounds inc parts if you choose a good plumber. don't return with ripped off. acquire a price for the job. don't adopt an hourly rate.
the immersion works like the feature in your kettle.
