i was surrounded by the middle of moving in .i be able to verbs water up but unfortinatly i have my desk top computer on the floor in room subsequent to laundry room.my computer was on and sitting contained by about an inch of river.i unplugged it and let it dry for a couple of days.once i hooked it rear up it seemed to fine.however the problem i own is with the audio.when i turn my speakers on and try to play music etc. adjectives i get is a electronic static nouns and nothing else.i tried different speakers but return with the same nouns.looking for suggestions.thanks
Answers: If it have a PCI sound card remove it and reseat it. It may hold some corrosion on the brass contacts.
Otherwise replace the sound card they are cheap.
If your system have onboard audio disable it in the BIOS and buy a PCI nouns card.
i got a cell phone drizzly once and was told to put it contained by the fridge to dry it out. it worked with one phone and did not work next to the other. is the computer covered under your homeowners insurance coverage ?
