I hold dampen coming out of my furnice is this typical? ...
If your furnace is a newer one that uses pcv pipe for the exhaust, yes it is middle-of-the-road, but there should be a hose going to a small pump and/or afterwards to a drain of some sort. If you don't have that, I don`t know you should had it looked at. Good Luck
Do you hold a humidifier? It may be operating correctly, or it may have a clogged drain.
If it is a glorious efficiency furnace, here will also be some condensate from the combustion process.
In either grip, it should be channeled out through a tube or pipe drain, not just running out on the floor.
Answers: It's possible the condensate line from your furnace is blocked. If your furnace is a plus 90 it produces condensate dampen from the flue all year round. If is an 80 percenter it will produce dampen only when the a/c contained by on. There should be a 3/4 pvc or copper line that drains bad condensate. It may drain it to the outside or it may drain it to a drain hub, laundry drain, etc. Could be plugged, blocked, frozen or broken. You need to find out where on earth it drains too and why it is backing up and running out of the furnace . In answer to your grill: No, your furnace should not have hose coming out of it. Hope this helps.
