We just purchased a home that's merely 2 years old. For 1 year, the house be empty. We hold a large soaking tub and separate shower are side by side. I carry extremely hot water within the soaking tub, but lukewarm (sometimes cool) water surrounded by the shower. Why is that? Also, the other shower in my home does not draw from hot either. How can I catch hot water for one and not the other? They are right subsequent to each other.
Where to stir from here?
Answers:    The shower have an anti-scalding valve. These can be accustomed, but you usually have to thieve the faceplate off to access. If you enjoy any manuals on it, that might back. You can look for the same tap at the hardware store and read their paperwork on how to adjust the valve. You can look it up on the internet at the companies website and print out instructions, or you can give the name a plumber.

It's actually a pretty commom problem. Since the hip bath is still getting hot water, you probably merely need to renovation out the cartridge. You can usually instruct one through the shower faucet manufacturer. If it's a Moen fixture, christen 1-8OO-Buy-Moen and they should be able to dispatch you the replacement parts. If you do not feel approaching doing it yourself. Call the plumber who did your home. They'll have access to the parts and can usually install it within an hour or less - usually smaller number.
