Answers: You need to find a temp that you are comfortable beside. For me 70 works, my mother-in-law likes hers at 72. The smaller number it runs though the lower you energy bill will be.
When you are not going to be here, turn the stat up to 80. When you get home, turn it down to anything makes you comfortable. This will pick up you money and the rest of us will have cheaper vim if everyone does this. Good luck and have a righteous memorial day-God Bless.
