i have a brand unknown bathroom floor and for some reason its really sticky especially around the toilet and immediately the bathroom down stairs is getting the same channel does 1 know what would cause this? i try to hang on to it clean and it a moment ago seems to be getting worse and spreading could it be mold or some item?
What type of flooring, tile,vinyl.
It could be because of the sweat coming off the toliet. If it's brand exotic I find it hard to be mold unless in that is a black buildup in the cracks, crevices, or joint in the nouns your refering to. And as the previous post had mentioned, are you sure it isn't urine?

do you hold small boys? if so theres the problem,
not mold,
pee
Answers:    You already heard roughly speaking the "pee" thing, but I don't buy this for a few reason: 1, you would see dried up pee, as well as smell the amonia from it. Get down and smell if you want to!
2, you said its within both bathrooms, and it seems to be adjectives over the floor, not just in the vicinity the toilet.
I would take another look at the cleaner your using. Perhaps it have a waxing agent within it for shine, but may leave too much residue to label it sticky. Try a different cleaner and give the floors a thorough cleaning. Use a cleaner that have no wax in it, something that will in truth strip wax like lysol floor cleaner or Pine Sol.
