Answers: Check the computer codes.
In order for the element to turn on, be sure:
1. The cover for the unit is properly within place. (Interlock switch prevents operation)
2. The wall thermostat is sending 24 volts to the heat circuit on the furnace when you turn up the roast.
3. There is power to the furnace.
