I own a Lennox furnace that lights but the blower won't come on. This happen a couple of times next will.
It's a Model 80MGF4-75A-7. Everything seems to work fine. Fire lights, stays lit for something like 7-10 seconds, next cuts off beforehand the blower kicks on. The diagnostic code is Light 2 flashes and Light 1 is bad. This will happen for a couple of cycles later the blower will kick on. Anyone know if it's a pressure switch, gas spout, control board, or none of the above? Thanks for your help!
Answers: Yes it is the flame sensor... The sensor is the little rod that sets contained by front of the burn tubes... This monitors the flame operation... Try cleaning it with sand composition that usually works...
Probably none of the above. Sounds like the flame sensor may be dirty. For more info including a step by step troubleshooting guide, check out the furnace page at my source.
