Ok.... we have a propane dampen heater and a all right! If you open the valve's on the Hot sea heater, the sea runs, a hot warm. The pipes also run a hot heat the ones that run from the Hot water kiln, but about 2-4 foot from the hot water kiln the pipes are cold. We replaced two parts the thurmal cupal but not sure of the name and the pressure stopcock. But still no hot water within the house. Please does anyone, can anyone please, help its be 3 weeks with it broken. I can't afford to fix or replace it untill after the holidays surrounded by about two weeks or so. My 2 little boys call for Christmas. I am boiling water for baths and for wash dishes, ect. It's just thoroughly hard. Please if you can back, with a thought or a suggestion, Thank You and Have a Great Holiday!!!
Answers: am not familiarized with propane dampen heaters, but could be you need to turn up thermostat. could also be sediment surrounded by heater. try draining give or take a few 5 gal out of it (drain usually on bottom). don't be surprised if water is brown/black--that's the crud. may also be due to corrosion within lines--are they galvanized? is near a union above space heater (these would be fittings which allow you to easily disassemble oven with a couple of pipe wrenches). if no coalition, you'd have to cut the file above the heater and check whether it is corroded solid. you should merely have to replace the hot vein (that's the line coming out of the reservoir and may be indicated on top of the electric fire with "H"). You nouns like a single mom. Maybe a neighbor may be capable of help out (tis the season). Good luck and God bless
That sounds close to something for a pro, you might as well keep on until after Christmas when you can afford it, unless you have a pro look at it, it would be unyielding to tell what is wrong.
