I cut off the broken cable and reconnected the remainder of the cable contained by the same instrument the original cable connected, checked the fuses etc and plugged it contained by but it's dead. Any clues? It's an Electrolux Flymo Turbo Lite 330.
I've no belief, but, sir were you using a circuit breaker contained by the first place, but try the fuse box in the house you may enjoy tripped this in the process.gl

Wow!! I didn't devise they still made those any more. I had the gas reworked copy and years later when I mention it not a soul believes me when I tell them I have a mower like this.

OK so you checked the fuses surrounded by the home, or on the mower??There may be a fuse on the mower itself. Check and replace if necessary. Plug the mower surrounded by to a known working outlet to see if it runs. It may not be the home breaker.

You also may enjoy whats called a fuse-able correlation. It's a wire that act like a fuse and shorts itself out when a surge of voltage is present. It's mostly found contained by autos but there could be one on the mower. You enjoy to know what your looking for as these wires sometime appear to be fine when in reality they have shorted.

Try to check your owners booklet it also could be a solenoid that got fried

Good Luck
Answers:    The mower be probably plugged into a GFI outlet. Most outdoor outlets are protected by a GFI somewhere in their side of the road. If the outlet has a Reset button on contained by, firmly push that button in to correct the problem. If your fuses/breakers are adjectives ok (you have to turn a circuit breaker adjectives the way OFF later back ON to reset it), you should be rear in business.
