He said they have to drill several holes within the brick and they cant tell how full the walls acquire and it can cause the drywall to pop or the plaster could crack,,
any truth to this?

Answers:    Yes in that is a lot of truth contained by it. Think of it this way, in attendance is one layer of brick, afterwards 2x4s placed vertically with the 2" side nearest the brick facade, and then drywall attached to the 2x4s. It's approaching a sandwich with the 2x4s surrounded by the middle and the brick and drywall as the bread.To insulate this set up the contractor would have to drill a hole within the brick facade and insert a hose that would pump the insulation into the spaces between the 2x4s. He would enjoy to drill multiple holes to get surrounded by between the 2x4s that are at approximately every 16"-18" along the wall. The contractor cannot see through the brick so he has no conception how much insulation he has pumped into this space. This type of insulation expands once it is sprayed. If the contractor accidentally pumps too much insulation into the space the insulation will expand too much. The brick will not offer, so the only place the extra expanded insulation have to go is to bow out or crack the weaker drywall. This drywall cracking or bowing would be perceptible on the interior of your house. Think of it this way, the contractor wishes to make money. If he told you that he wouldn't do a work, hence make no money from you, he must be describing the truth. Good luck and I hope that this helped!

Are you trying to blow surrounded by your attic or the walls? Your walls are probably fur stripped in which defence blowing would be useless. There should be no problem to blow your attic. You should call several contractors though.
