thing that it sticks out of. The tips of the string is not perceptible throught the holes but you can see that there is string contained by there. How do I obtain the string out? THanks!

Answers:    You have to remove the come first and dismantle it as you would to restring it.

Turn it upside down & you'll see a segment on the head side,
which can be pushed within to unlock the head remnant cover.
Push in & verbs the cover off the plinth to expose the reel.
Take the bobbin out by turning one tooth on the hub.
String gets bound up & fail to unwind properly.
Wind the string around reel, put wind up out through hole.
Replace reel on hub, turn to lock below tooth.
Replace cover & twist to re-lock knob section.
Turn adjectives & re-start weed-whacker.
