Humidity surrounded by my home is too soaring HELP!!? I bought a home 30 min. south of Dallas. I smell moisture...

I bought a home 30 min. south of Dallas. I smell moisture in the s/west back of home "master bedroom and bath" we dont live contained by it as of yet, creating moisture from showers dishwasher etc. I leave the a/c on 78. I bought a dehumidifier and hold to run it all the time or it is 80% humidity. It produces 2.5 gallons in smaller quantity than 24 hours. Others facts heavily treed area. today temp 100 humidity 50% inside the area 75%. Cleaned a/c coils surrounded by september. I am afraid to install the carpet. When we pulled old runner out it was damp within the master bedroom. There is a small raised garden bed outside the bdroom window that the dirt seem kinda high. But rain have been rare here of unpaid and I dont think that is cause the problem. It is a slab foundation. could there be a leak below the foundation? Please if you have any ideas I would love it. I thought nearly draining the toilet and stopping up the shower drain LOL
Run the AC or buy a Dehumidifier. You must have a underground water slick under your home. Check your floor and check for any mold, check the walls, If you see any mold any where. Then walk around your house and check to make sure the air ventilators, is simply small windows about the ground horizontal on the exterior walls and make sure that no water is going thru. May be through precipitation, or may be through your sprinkler system. When I moved into my house, I had that problem, and I found out that the previous owner had a garden subsequent to those ventilators and she never knew what was cause the mold to be on the floor and walls. It was very awful, because it also migrated into the closet walls. She love maintain that garden with a lot of marine, and it was covering three rooms all around the house. Good luck.

I would find out about the foundation and plant bed for sure.

As you own heat and a very lofty humidity outside, and the AC on inside, your house might draw moisture from outside if it is badly insulated and it will settle in the house. It happen with our basement. Think of dampen steam in the bathroom it will settle on the mirror and the tiles which are usually cooler.

I would get an inspector to check what to do within such cases.
Better insulation would probably help. I won't get runner until the problem is solved.
Answers:    I think Tori has the right thought.

The slab foundation is the coolest part of the house and the moisture is condensing on that because the humidity is so high.

I own had that problem with a crypt floor in the summer.

It takes a long time to dehumidify a home because you own to remove moisture from everything in the house. Drywall holds a lot of moisture.

You are doing adjectives you can I think other than seal or putting some sort of insulation over the slab prevent the warm humid air from contacting the cooler surface.

Moving nouns should help if it is more one end than the other.

But a seep in ground is a possibility but I would think nearby were be other indications.

Good Luck
