I just moved to a wooded area and my house have been very humid this summer. I do not own air conditioning and I have the window open most of the time. So, I'm getting most of my humidity from the outside. I've cleared away a lot of nouns and trees from around my house but everything is still very humid. I've got mildew on the north side of the house and moss growing on the roof.
Should I clear more trees? Is an nouns conditioner the best option to maintain a nontoxic humidity level? Are there option for improving the humidity in the nouns outside my house (ie removing trees for more sunlight)?
air conditioning is your best alternative ,especially since your getting mildew,sunshine on the roof will eliminate the moss..tom .
You do not say where on earth you live. Is this normal for this area. We live contained by the south and no matter what the vegetation is, we still own humidity. The only way is to obtain air conditioning here. Yes, air conditioner or dehumidifier is the best solution. They both condense the moist nouns into water which you drain away to the outside.
