My trailer awning has a bit of green mold and moss on it
Answers: if it is vinyl 10 percent bleach solution will work fine and not weaken anything
The only article short of bleach which will ruin it is a product by DampRid Mold and Mildew Remover and Protector for Fabrics. It is a spray on application, only costs a few bucks at the Lowes home increase center (on the cleaning aisle) and won't damage the awning. I have it really bad on my gazebo awning end year and used that to remove it. You do need a short time scrubbing handling for the green parts, but not only does it remove it, it also leaves a residue that keep it from coming back.
