How to set toughness plane within dampen softener? I have a Northstar sea softener and I would like to money...

I have a Northstar sea softener and I would like to money the hardness setting to acquire my water for a moment softer. Right now the height is at 12 and I can't find out if that number needs to walk higher or lower to put together the water softer.
What is cause my hot and cold pipes...
Answers:    The river softener that I had couldn't manufacture the water "softer". The solidness setting was used to inform the controller how often to recharge itself.
I lately did a quick pattern search for you & found some manual on the Northstar site...
