My husband and I are remodeling our kitchen and just installed below cabinet spotlights. We don't want to have to fastener and/or screw them into the bottom of the cabinet but have run into a moment or two problem. We thought adhesive velco would work, but the lights (hallogen) attain hot and melt the epoxy resin that holds the velcro and spotlight in place after self turned on for a few minutes, so they fall sour.

Does superglue or expoxy glue de-ice under boil? We're thinking glue may be a better alternative. We don't want to staple or screw the lights into the cabinets because the nail or screws will be detectable when the door is opened and may interfere beside the dishes etc. in the cabinet.

Answers:    Frankly, I don't approaching the idea of any description of adhesive contained by this situation. If it were to permit go next to no one watching, you could own a fire hazard.

Just use screw short enough so that they won't protrude on the other side. As for holding strength, other compensate for length with screw breadth or coarseness.
How much do you charge per square foot...
use gripfill, or pinkgrip, you can get them at most hardware stores similar to b&q or homebase, just apply and hold within place for a few mins and it will hold for good.
